Reduce, Reworn, Recycle!

Slow Fashion Club isn't moving so slow anymore! We are excited to be participating in the Net Impact Campaign, where we will be hosting many events this quarter as well as the spring quarter. There will be many different learning opportunities as well as chances to hang out and talk about Slow Fashion! We hope you are interested in our campaign and would be honored if you were to join us on our #rewornjourney

The Slow Fashion Club, in collaboration with the Sustainability Club, is excited to introduce the REWORN Campaign. Reworn is a campaign entry part of the Net Impact, Wear It Wise Sustainable Fashion Competition. This international competition will run over the next couple of weeks, with the goal to increase awareness of the social, environmental and economic impacts of the fashion industry.

The REWORN Campaign would like to use live interactive events to educate students about clothing care, disposal and repurpose options. The goal is to change consumer behavior of the next generation and make them aware of their impact within the fashion industry. You are more than just a consumer, you are creative. Use your skills to repurpose your old and make it new. Reimage. Reworn. Become aprosumer.

Follow us on the #rewornjourney for the next couple of weeks, by joining us at our exciting up and coming events. March 2nd: Fix-up Pop-up Event March 6th: Clothing Swap March 30th: Upcycle Fashion Competition April 10th: Webinar with industry expert Rina Strydom
